The past week or so has been full of interesting stuff. I requested (and received) a book from TSCPL calling Getting Things Done by David Allen. Yeah, its one of those get organized books! Ha, I already consider myself pretty dang organized, but could I ask…is it weird for me to enjoy reading about it and trying to pursue it more?
Along with GTD comes a need for something very handy to take a note of a thought or “to-do” on. Introducing the Hipster PDA! I’ve been carrying a little bundle of index cards in my back pocket this week, but haven’t really implemented it too much. I need to read farther into GTD.
So if you’re unorganized and have no money, get yourself a Hipster PDA. hehe.
It’s not weird to pursue anything you are interested in. Maybe in the grand scheme of the universe your over-organization will make up for my lack thereof, and if that worked for people everywhere of all levels of organization, maybe the universe has a constant, stable level of organization… or maybe it all cancels out into a state of void- no organization or disorganization… but then there’s the whole entropy thing… hmm…
So, let me see if I understand this. If I have no money and am unorganized, I should go get a Hipster PDA with the money that I don’t have due to my disorganization? 🙂
“is it weird for me to enjoy reading about it and trying to pursue it more?”
yes. (not really of course)
