I’m Sick and Missing Competition

Today I’m missing the K-State Marching Festival or whatever because of a sinus infection that has crept up on me. I had a sore throat when I woke up yesterday (Friday), but didn’t think it would develop into this (like it always does). So I’m stuck at home, while the band just finished competing. I got a call from Amy, and the band got all one ratings again, with a one-plus in music!!! I’m really happy, but wish I could’ve been there for it all. Oh well, I guess that means they don’t need me 🙂

The run to the doctor’s office today was a hassle, since it’s a Saturday and all. I spent two hours there, with about ten minutes of actually doctor attention. Oh well. They put me on Zithromax or something, the same antibiotic I was put on the last time I got a sinus infection (end of March 2006). Hopefully the drugs will get me back in the game in time for school on Monday…and give me enough energy for a big three day week…haha.

This coming Thursday I have my normal doctor’s appointment…how convenient that turned out with my infection. Friday is a home game that everyone should come to. Saturday is that last marching competition of the season…the biggest we attend…and everyone’s goal – Neewollah. It’s in Independence, KS, a three hour bus ride. Ohhhhh yeah. Tons of fun. And this year, we’re going to win with our wonderful “007” themed show! YEAH!

Well thats the news from my desk…or I guess “sick-bed.” Have a good weekend. Thanks for reading. Comments are permissable…hit me.

Man… I’ve been feeling pretty crappy all day too… I need to stay home and sleep…

It was pretty sweet…besides the fact Kerri and Heather added a kajillion more things and I had to learn them and I messed up a lot…

Oh well. We still did awesome. Woot

    Get well!! NOW!!

Ya, we missed you today. But you didn’t miss much. We basically stayed on the bus, went to the mall, did our show inside, and went home; without watching any other bands. All because of the weather. Oh ya, and we sang “99 Bottles of Juice on the Wall”, and a bunch of other great songs on the way home. Well, just get well.

Zithromax…when I had pneumonia they put bugs and I on that. Oh yummy, (NOT) in liquid form.
I was in manhattan as well yesterday…but for xc regionals. Ahh, racing in 40 degrees with nothing but a little nylon jersey and shorts. FS took third at the KU marching festival, behind some school from South Dakota and LHS. LHS won basically all the caption awards. They’re amazing.
    Laterrr
