Well…I’ve consolidated.

I moved all my posts and comments from my other “personal” blog, to here. Everything went fine, except all the comments show up as posts, which is really messy. But oh well, at least they are here eh?

So remove my personal blog from your bookmarks. Just this one now! Like it used to be.

Well, Cole posted earlier today about some really cool iPods that are coming out…rumor has it. But I guess, the page Cole found about it has been shut down becuase of so many hits or something. I can try to describe what I know/think the new iPods will be like:

  1. The whole face is a screen (know)
  2. When you touch the screen the click wheel and stuff shows up on it, and its touch sensitive (think)

Thats all I know/think. But yeah, they look pretty awesome.

Hmm, lets see. This weekend was pretty good. Friday night I went to tennis, which was cool, then pretty much did nothing the rest of the evening. Saturday, I had a Topeka Youth Symphony rehersal, with a pre-competition concert that Amy came to. Then Amy and I went to the mall, and spent half our time trying to figure out what to do. hehe. Then hit up Shakes for some good ice cream, then she had to go home. So that was reeeeeeeeeealllllly fun. Following that escapade, I taught a drum lesson. I’m a bit frustrated with my student, becuase he don’t practice for nothin’. haha. But he is improving, and next week (like our 4th or 5th lesson) we’ll finally be going over eighth notes. Yeah!

Today I went to church, and right now they’re having a series of classes to get confirmed. Since I’m already confirmed, I agreed to teach lesson in a few weeks on the history of our cathedral and the building and stuff. Perhaps a tour and all will be included…depends on how much/what kind of info I put together. After church I ate at Subway with my parents. Then I came home and played the drums for about an hour straight. Then I called Cole, and we fixed a couple things on my computer. And then all the sudden he spoke the words of the century: “Hey, do you want to play a game of Halo?” WHOA – Hadn’t heard that in a loooooooooong time!! Like 4 or 5 months!! Freak out! So I hooked up the XBOX and got things going, and we played online, and I haven’t lost an ounce of my skill!!! Awwwww yeah. Good stuff.

So I’m still staying devoted to my daily reading of the bible, and I’m learning lots! Its really cool stuff…the email I get. I mentioned it last post. I’ve never really sat down and read things day by day, and thought about them, and now I am, and am finding lots of meaning I hadn’t before. I guess another thing besides daily reading that is really helping, is the Bible translation I’m using – The Message: Remix. It takes the original hebrew or whatever language, that would’ve been everyday street language then, and puts it closer to our everyday language, like what we use to talk on the phone. Its a lot more comfortable for daily reading, becuase it puts you past all the thy’s and thou’s and thee’s. I still like the thou’s and stuff, but would much rather sit down and read The Message: Remix for an hour or two at a time.

Check out Billy’s website – yesterday he posted a halarious post about being smart and/or stupid. It was awesome!!!! READ NOW!!!!

Thats about it for now. I guess I’d better get to bed…even though its only 8.00pm. Tomorrow is Model UN, which I’ll report on later. ha. Solving world problems. Hooray!
