Well well, its been four days since my last update, two days of absolutely no site views, three days since anyone posted a comment, and about 4000 thoughts I haven’t written about.
The week started off pretty cool. Last weekend was Miqra, a youth event at my church, where about 75-100 teens get together for a weekend, and spend time reading the bible. In 72 hours we read the entire bible. Now, if you are thinking that its like we sit down and read for days straight, its not that. We actually can sign up for hour long shifts, anytime during the day. A few friends and I decided to sign up for midnight to 2am on Sunday night (the event ran from Sat. morning to Monday morning). When we weren’t busy reading, we were around the church doing other activities. Hearing speakers, meeting in our “tribes”, watching movies, singing songs, eating, and sleeping. This year I thought it was going to be totally awkward, because recently I’ve been questioning my faith and all. I’m not really sure if I believe everything, and I’ve been trying to decided for a LONG while now. Miqra kind of just pushed things back into my face, and I still don’t really know what I believe or what I want to believe.
Right now I’m reading Left Behind and it’s pretty good so far. It’s really wierd to think what it would be like if the Rapture happened. But of course, I’m not sure if I believe that it will ever.
After Miqra, it was back for another week at school. Suprisingly on Wednesday, Janae mentioned that our choir teacher complimented me, if front of the top school choir…just randomly, during class. I’m not sure exactly what he said, but something like: “Do you guys know David? He is a good singer” or something like that. I don’t agree, but I guess if he says so….. Then, on Friday, when I was in his class, Amy and I went up to ask him something, and then he asked me if I was going to be getting an audition peice ready for next year. So I guess I’m going to……OH and I just realized that I haven’t told my parents this yet!!! ahh!!!!
I’m really liking school right now, because everyday I have two easy classes. On Tuesdays and Thursdays it’s Band and Idependent Study, and on Wednesdays and Fridays its Independent Study and Choir. Ba-da-ba-ba-ba – I’m loving it.
Today was pretty shweet. We (me and some friends) went out to the movies and Red Robin. We saw King Kong. Honestly, the first half of the movie sucked, because the diologue was stupid and things didn’t really flow. As it went on, though, it got a lot better, and it ended up pretty good. Except the last line in the movie was dumb. Like trying to be all deep and emotional, but not happening because of the actor and stuff. See the movie, and you’ll know what I mean. All in all I give King Kong 3/5 stars. After the movie, Amy, my beautiful and wonderful girlfriend, had to go home. So we all had a few minutes at Red Robin, and then she had to go. But the rest of us stayed a bit long and finished our food, then headed to Billy’s house. That was pretty fun, because we did a bit of DDR, completely sucking, then some pingpong, then some Risk, then some more pingpong. It was pretty awesome. Sorry Amy, that you couldn’t come.
I gave my first drum lesson on Thursday night, to a fourth grader, who’s parents are friends with my parents. It was pretty cool, and he seems to have potential. We’ll see how it goes. I’m excited.
Alrighty, well thats the update for the week. There is much more to tell, but this is already pretty lengthy. Hopefully I’ll get back to updating more often, and then posts will be shorter and more plentiful.
Comment!!! And thank you VERY much for reading!!!

“When†the rapture happens. 2 Peter 3:10a says “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…†I really hope you dig and search for answers, David, because every day we’re one day closer to Christ’s return, and if you haven’t accepted Christ, you will be left behind on earth to live through the tribulation. It will come when we least expect it, and we are closer to it now than ever before. Nothing is guaranteed; not next week, not tomorrow, not even our next breath. I’m still praying for you, and if you let Him, God will show you the way.
